Gentle Folk, Vin de Sofa 2022

Gareth and Rainbo Belton created Gentle Folk to make brilliant wine out of the Basket Range. Farming numerous sites and varietals they have built their reputations on lo-fi viticulture and winemaking from making stellar wines from their native Adelaide Hills. A play on words of the expression, "Vin de Soif" (wine of thirst), this lip-smacking fruity number is a blend of mainly Gamay and Pinot Noir, with a little Syrah, Merlot and Grenache added. Bursting with notes of cranberry, redcurrant and raspberry; it has a moreishly light body and good vibrant acidity. An awesome red to try lightly chilled paired over cheeseboard.
